How does it help your skin?
- Prevents acne scars. Scars form because the area of the skin contains too much melanin, a protein that gives the skin its color. These areas appear darker than the surrounding areas and stand out easily. Several studies have shown that vitamin B3 reduces the transfer of melanin. That’s why they are used in treatment of hyperpigmentation and scars. Vitamin B3 is also routinely added to skin lightening products for the same reason.
- Restores moisture to the skin. Algae extracts are widely used in cosmetics and personal care products for their moisturizing properties. Vitamin B3 helps to restore water barrier function in the skin, so that the moisture is retained in the skin (rather than evaporating out).

How to use
